Barnaby is one of my few close friends. It's always a pure joy to be in his calming presence for me. Like all my dearest friends, we met either through music or travel. Barnaby discovered Eclectic Soul early on, in 2012 or 2013. He reached out by e-mail. We connected immediately, also because I loved his music. If I love someone's music – made or listened to – I love someone's soul. Simple as that. If we could listen to everybody's music, we'd quickly know if we want them as friends or not. In 2013, I invited him to play two DJ sets in one day in Geneva. I think he add his biggest crowd ever during Fête de la Musique in Parc des Bastions. Since then, we visited each other almost every year. Just for meeting Barnaby, it was worth it to make and share Eclectic Soul with the world.

In this show I experimented with film samples here and there. It's from Waking Life, I highly recommend you to watch if you didn't already. A film that was actually introduced to me by Barnaby Carter. I like the idea of telling a story, sharing a message or something. Hope you like it :)

I'm very pleased to see what Eclectic Soul is doing – for you, for me. It is shaping my life month after month in a way I love.
